Questa è la rubrica di un articolo pubblicato nel numero di ottobre del giornale “Argomenti e fatti in Bielorussia” sul trasporto SkyWay. “NEW LOCOMOTIVE ON OLD RAILS”
This is the heading of an article published in the October issue of the newspaper “Arguments and facts in Belarus” about SkyWay transport. The key subject of the article is the Soviet engineering school with its intellectual heritage helping modern scientists, engineers and inventors to bring their own ideas to life. SkyWay transport comes forward as a vivid example of this intellectual continuity: Anatoly Yunitskiy succeeded to optimally combine well-known and time-tested engineering solutions in its innovative transport system with the latest trends in the field of hi-tech.
After the disappearance of the Soviet Union from the political map, scientists and engineers of the former Soviet Union ran scatter each his own way, and many famous factories went bankrupt. A security module and three-section unicar are demonstrated at the display stand of SkyWay transport. If inquisitive connoisseurs of innovations could see the security module during the festival EcoFest in July, the unicar is shown to the public for the first time in the history of the technology. Unicar is a public transport, however, its comfort is not inferior to the features of a car. Each unicar section comfortably accommodates six people, for whom seats are equipped. The weight is six tons. The number of sections in the unicar can be up to seven depending on the intensity of passenger traffic. It is the transport of the second level, it allows to relieve city traffic and to solve one of the key problems of an urban society.
WHO ARE THEY?
SkyWay Technologies Co. is an engineering Company involved in project designing, construction and certification of high-speed (up to 500 km/h), urban and freight SkyWay transport systems. The system is known as Unitsky String Transport. The Company’s engineering solutions ensure high motion speed, reduce costs and the level of harmful impact of transport on the environment. The Company participated in the recent business forum in New Delhi, after which representatives of Belarusian authorities visited EcoTechnoPark.
WHAT IS SKYWAY TRANSPORT?
The vehicles in SkyWay transport are electric carriages on steel wheels running on special string rails. The main design differences of this system from other types of roads in trestle design are pre-stressing of the structure for tension, absence of a continuous roadbed, low consumption of materials for construction and visual lightness.
WHAT IS PECULIAR IN THE NOVELTY?
Unicar is a part of the family of models of urban SkyWay transport. It harmoniously fits into the infrastructure of any metropolis, which is especially important for fast-growing cities of Belarus. It is in the model lineup with unibuses. It is equipped with seats in the range of 2 to 18. An 18-seat industrial model will be displayed at the exhibition. Its maximum speed is 120-150 km/h, the performance of the complex is above 50 thousand passengers /hour, the maximum longitudinal road gradient is up to 30%.

The 14-seat SkyWay unibus is one of the models of rolling stock intended for the transportation of passengers in the city and on suburban routes. The machine works on electric traction and can reach speeds of up to 150 km/h, while consuming an order of magnitude less energy than any of the existing vehicles. In the cabin of the unibus there are 2 seats, a climate control system, as well as audio and video information for passengers. The unibus can move on all types of string rails: rigid, semi-flexible and flexible. The performance of the SkyWay line, equipped with the 14-seat unibuses, can reach 25,000 passengers per hour in one direction, which is comparable to the performance of the metro, while the cost of building the SkyWay line will be an order of magnitude lower.

UNIBUS: THE VEHICLE WEIGHING THREE AND A HALF TONS IS MOVING ON THE “STRING”

There were held the running tests of the unibus on the flexible track structure at the SkyWay EcoTechnoPark during the outgoing week. The trials are being carried out within the framework of the acceptance testing of the rolling stock. One of the important confirmed characteristics is the versatility of Yunitskiy’s string transport : all types of the SkyWay suspended vehicles can be used on different types of transport systems. In that regard, a week before, a 2-seat unibike was being tested on the rigid farm structure.
The 14-seat unibus is being tested on a suspended track structure in various modes, including the full weight of 3.5 tons. Already on the first day of the tests, its speed exceeded 80 km/h in the central point of the 400-meter middle span. The next level is one hundred, and then the maximum, which the 400-meter length of the section between the high intermediate supports will allow.
Such tests, among other things, make it possible to verify the possibility of using heavy SkyWay vehicles on the similar type of the track structure allowing them to overcome water and other obstacles without constructing bridges, tunnels, overpasses, etc.

La fiera internazionale dei trasporti, organizzata dal Ministero dei trasporti della Repubblica di Belarus, si terrà a Minsk dal 3 al 5 ottobre 2017.
Svolge un ruolo significativo nello sviluppo delle infrastrutture di trasporto e della logistica in Bielorussia e nei paesi limitrofi, contribuisce ad attrarre innovazioni e investimenti, crescita del volume dei trasporti internazionali.
Si prevede di mostrare gli ultimi prototipi – un nuovo modulo di sicurezza e unicar a tre sezioni – presso lo stand del trasporto di stringhe SkyWay.
Come promemoria, l’anno scorso SkyWay ha anche preso parte alla fiera trasporto e logistica 2016 ed è diventato uno degli zest degli eventi.

The International transport trade fair, organized by the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Belarus, will be held in Minsk on October 3-5, 2017.
It plays a significant role in development of transport infrastructure and logistics in Belarus and neighbouring countries, contributes to attracting innovations and investments, growth of international transportation volume.
It is planned to show the latest prototypes – a new security module and three-section unicar – at the booth of SkyWay string transport.
As a reminder, last year SkyWay also took part in the trade fair Transport and Logistics 2016 and became one of the zests of the events.
We invite everybody to take part in the fair trade and support SkyWay transport!

Në veçanti, në vitin 2016, disa aplikacione për regjistrimin ndërkombëtar të emërtimeve të markave kryesore të teknologjisë SkyWay si marka tregtare u paraqitën në vendet e zhvilluara ekonomikisht të botës.
Në vitin 2016 janë pranuar patentat e Republikës së Bjellorusisë për mostra komerciale të tipeve kryesore të automjeteve SkyWay (unibike, unibus, yunicar, etj.) Për sistemet SkyWay të Yunitskiy dhe mbrojtja e patentave jashtë vendit është nisur. Në mars 2017, ne kemi marrë tashmë certifikatat për regjistrimin e pesë mostrave tregtare në Australi dhe njëmbëdhjetë certifikatat e regjistrimit në mostrat tregtare që janë në fuqi në territoret e 23 vendeve të Komunitetit Evropian, si dhe tre patenta në Kinë dhe pesë në Japonia. Gjatë periudhës 2016 – fillim të vitit 2017 kompania jonë ka dorëzuar në EAPO (Euroaziatike Patent Organization) dhjetë aplikacione për patentat euroaziatike për grupe shpikjesh (çdo aplikim përmban nga 2 deri në 5 shpikje, për shembull: “Sistemi i transportit SkyWay dhe metoda për montimin e saj (variantet) “dhe aplikacionet e lidhura ndërkombëtare për shpikje në WIPO (Organizata Botërore e Pronësisë Intelektuale) me qëllim të marrjes së patentave për shpikje në dhjetra vende të botës.

soluzioni di design innovative basate su un insieme di know-how sviluppato dall’ingegnere Anatoly Yunitskiy che hanno tali caratteristiche di brevettabilità, come novità mondiale, livello inventivo e applicabilità industriale, – preparazione di applicazioni sui brevetti per invenzioni;
oggetti del diritto d’autore relativi alle suddette direttive di brevettazione.
La geografia dei brevetti internazionali include aree di interesse aziendale di Skyway Technologies Co. e SkyWay Group of Companies.
In particolare, nel 2016 sono state presentate diverse applicazioni per la registrazione internazionale delle principali designazioni di marca della tecnologia SkyWay nei paesi economicamente sviluppati del mondo.
Nel 2016 sono stati ricevuti i brevetti della Repubblica di Bielorussia su campioni commerciali di grandi tipi di veicoli SkyWay (unibike, unibus, yunicar, ecc.) Ai sistemi SkyWay di Yunitskiy e la loro protezione brevettuale all’estero è stata lanciata. A marzo 2017 abbiamo già ottenuto i certificati per la registrazione di cinque campioni commerciali in Australia e undici certificati di registrazione su campioni commerciali in vigore nei territori di 23 paesi della Comunità Europea, oltre a tre brevetti in Cina e cinque in Giappone. Inoltre, sul territorio della Federazione Russa sono in vigore e sono in vigore tre brevetti per invenzioni relative a vari tipi di trasporto SkyWay.

In parallel with the design study, conducting experimental tests and actual steps to certify the objects of Yunitskiy’s transport systems, SkyWay Technologies Co. is proceeding with a complex of measures on national and international patenting of project designing, technological, artistic and artistic/design solutions related to SkyWay transport.
THE PREPARATION OF APPLICATIONS FOR REGISTRATION OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OBJECTS IS CARRIED OUT IN SEVERAL DIRECTIONS:
visual means of ascertainment of Yunitskiy’s SkyWay transport systems and their components, vehicles related to them, as well as products and services for different purposes (construction, architectural, electrical, tool engineering and communication, chemical, agricultural and others) – author’s development and preparation for registering trademarks including the brand logos of the enterprise;
original artistic and artistic/design solutions for the main structural components and modules of SkyWay transport including rolling stock, – author’s developments and preparation of applications for patents and certificates for corresponding commercial samples;
innovative design solutions based on a set of know-how developed by engineer Anatoly Yunitskiy that have such features of patentability, as a world novelty, inventive level and industrial applicability, – preparation of applications on patents for inventions;
objects of author’s right related to the above directions of patenting.
The geography of international patenting includes areas of corporate interest of Skyway Technologies Co. and SkyWay Group of Companies.
In particular, in 2016, several applications for international registration of major brand designations of SkyWay technology as trademarks were submitted in economically developed countries of the world.
In 2016, the patents of the Republic of Belarus on commercial samples of major types of SkyWay vehicles (unibike, unibus, yunicar, etc.) to Yunitskiy’s SkyWay systems have been received and their patent protection abroad has been launched. In March 2017, we have already obtained the certificates on registration of five commercial samples in Australia and eleven registration certificates on commercial samples that are in force on the territories of 23 countries of the European Community, as well as three patents in China and five in Japan. In addition, on the territory of the Russian Federation three patents for inventions related to various types of SkyWay transport are acting and maintained in force.
During the period 2016 – early 2017 our Company has submitted to EAPO (Eurasian Patent Organization) ten applications for Eurasian patents on groups of inventions (every application contains from 2 to 5 inventions, for example: “SkyWay transport system and the method for its assembling (variants)”) and related international applications for inventions to WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) with the purpose to obtain patents for inventions in dozens of countries of the world.
Registration of objects of intellectual property in different states allows not only to enter legally correctly the relevant markets with the own products, but also to ensure its protection from unauthorized use and unfair competition.

Projekti SkyWay po zhvillohet me sukses, vëmendje më e madhe po tërhiqet në vende të ndryshme. Përfaqësues nga Brazili i largët u bënë miq të ardhshëm në EcoTechnoPark në Maryina Gorka.
Sebastiao Quintao, kryetar i qytetit të Ipatinga, shteti i Minas Gerais, Brazil, arriti në Bjellorusi si Shef i qytetit dhe një figurë politike. Ai ishte shumë i impresionuar me atë që pa në projektimin e projektit SkyWay. Più il progetto SkyWay sta sviluppando con successo, maggiore è l’attenzione che attira nei diversi paesi. I rappresentanti del lontano Brasile sono stati i prossimi ospiti dell’EcoTechnoPark di Maryina Gorka.
Sebastiao Quintao, sindaco della città di Ipatinga, stato del Minas Gerais, in Brasile, è arrivato in Bielorussia come capo della città e figura politica. È rimasto molto impressionato da ciò che ha visto nella società di progettazione del progetto SkyWay. In una video intervista ha parlato in dettaglio delle sue impressioni riguardanti le tecnologie innovative, le specificità dei problemi logistici e strutturali in Sud America e, ovviamente, le previsioni di cooperazione.
SEBASTIAO QUINTAO:
Come capo della città, una figura politica e anche come un visionario, sono molto impressionato da ciò che ho visto qui in SkyWay Company, con la tecnologia che ho sperimentato all’EcoTechnoPark. Mi sono reso conto che è possibile effettuare vari tipi di trasporto con esso. Questo settore economico comporta enormi risorse finanziarie. E può essere organizzato in un altro modo per renderlo ecologico e più efficiente.
La tecnologia SkyWay è molto adatta per il Brasile, in quanto è un paese molto grande. In Brasile, ci sono molti problemi logistici, a cui SkyWay ha delle soluzioni. Ad esempio, la più grande acciaieria dell’America Latina opera nella nostra regione, nella città di Ipatinga. Questa soluzione di trasporto sarà molto utile per questo. Siamo pronti per l’introduzione di questa tecnologia in Brasile. Inoltre, la più grande ferrovia del Brasile passa attraverso la nostra città di Ipatinga, che è il centro dell’industria siderurgica. Così, in Brasile, e specialmente in Ipatinga, SkyWay sarà in grado di dimostrare le sue possibilità di sviluppare questo settore e creare qualcosa di diverso rispetto a ciò che siamo abituati a vedere.
La cooperazione tra Brasile e SkyWay inizia in un ottimo periodo di tempo, poiché l’economia brasiliana si è stabilizzata e ha iniziato a crescere quest’anno. Abbiamo ottime previsioni per i prossimi anni. Come sindaco di Ipatinga, applicherò tutti gli sforzi possibili per introdurre SkyWay in Brasile, soprattutto perché ho buoni rapporti con il governo federale, il Senato e il governo dello Stato. Ho una grande credibilità e userò tutte le mie capacità per aiutare SkyWay a diventare una realtà non solo in Ipatinga, ma anche in tutte le altre regioni del Brasile.

DELEGATION FROM BRAZIL VISITED SKYWAY ECOTECHNOPARK

The more successfully SkyWay project is developing, the greater attention it attracts in different countries. Representatives from the distant Brazil became the next guests at EcoTechnoPark in Maryina Gorka.
Sebastiao Quintao, Mayor of the city of Ipatinga, state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, arrived in Belarus as the Head of the city and a political figure. He was very impressed with what he saw in SkyWay project designing Company. In a video interview he spoke in detail on his impressions concerning the innovative technologies, specifics of logistical and structural problems in South America and, of course, on the forecasts for cooperation.

As the Head of the city, a political figure and even as a visionary, I am very impressed with what I saw here in SkyWay Company, with the technology that I experienced at EcoTechnoPark. I realized that it is possible to carry out various types of transportation with it. This sector of economy involves huge financial resources. And it can be arranged in some other way to make it environmentally friendly and more efficient.
SkyWay technology is very well suited for Brazil, as it is a very big country. In Brazil, there are many logistical problems, to which SkyWay has solutions. For example, the largest steel Company in Latin America operates in our region, in the city of Ipatinga. This transport solution will be very useful for it. We are ready for the introduction of this technology in Brazil. In addition, the largest railway of Brazil passes through our city of Ipatinga, which is the center of steel industry. Thus, in Brazil, and especially in Ipatinga, SkyWay will be able to demonstrate its possibilities to develop this industry and create something different compared to what we are used to see.
The cooperation between Brazil and SkyWay starts in a very good period of time, as Brazil’s economy has stabilized now and it began to grow this year. We have very good forecasts for the next years. As the Mayor of Ipatinga, I will apply all possible efforts to introduce SkyWay in Brazil, especially because I have good relationships in the Federal Government, the Senate and the State Government. I have a great credibility and I will use all my capabilities to help SkyWay to become a reality not only in Ipatinga, but also in all other regions of Brazil.
