OPENING OF THE TRANSPORT WEEK: SKYWAY BRINGS THE WORLD WITHOUT BORDERS
The European Union can provide financial support to cross-border transport projects in which Belarus participates. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Anatoliy Kalinin at the opening of the transport week in Belarus, the ONT channel reports.
We remind you it was Anatoliy Kalinin who invited the General Designer of the string transport Anatoliy Yunitskiy to prepare a project for the introduction of SkyWay transport systems in the transport infrastructure of Belarus.
The issue of mainstreaming cross-border cooperation has matured throughout the region. The string transport is getting interest in Kaliningrad, the city that historically has strong economic ties with the homeland of SkyWay General Designer Anatoliy Yunitskiy. “The SkyWay city transport project is able to completely change the city’s infrastructure, to unload and make the transport system more convenient for the residents,” the “Profit” news agency writes.
The development of the transport innovation sphere is really in demand, as recently many international events, including sports ones, take place in Belarus. The projects are being discussed for the Second European Games of 2019. The next stage will be the World Hockey Championship in 2021, which Belarus will hold together with Latvia.
After the string transport was introduced in India (read the material at BelTA), more attention was also paid to it at home. The internet magazine “Garlic”, the news agency “Ecopress” and others informed their audiences about the presentation of the unicar.
